We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to join our clients precision manufacturing team. This position plays a critical role in producing high-quality plastic and aluminum components using CNC milling machines. Hours: 3:00pm-11:30pm
Shift: Monday-Friday
Starting pay rate: $25.50/hr
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines using blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Select appropriate tooling and fixturing; adjust machine settings for optimal performance.
- Perform in-process inspections with precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges).
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, making necessary adjustments to maintain part quality.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with company standards.
- Accurately document production data including inspections, setup sheets, and maintenance logs.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of CNC milling experience.
- Ability to perform setups, operation, and minor program edits on CNC machines.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and documentation.
- Familiarity with machining plastics and aluminum is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a CNC machining certification program or formal apprenticeship.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with CAM software such as Mastercam or Fusion 360.
- Experience working with tight tolerances and precision parts.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards and processes.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for 8+ hours.

- Use of PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
- Tolerance for working in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise and temperature changes.
